Nessa ocasi\u00e3o os Macabeus descobriram que havia \u00f3leo consagrado para acender o candelabro por um \u00fanico dia, mas a tradi\u00e7\u00e3o conta que miraculosamente ele durou oito dias, o tempo necess\u00e1rio para preparar mais \u00f3leo. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; color: #000000;\">No decorrer da festa ser\u00e3o acesas as velas do candelabro de oito bra\u00e7os chamado \u201cChanuki\u00e1\u201d, representando os oito dias em que o \u00f3leo durou. A cada dia uma nova vela ser\u00e1 adicionada, utilizando-se um nono bra\u00e7o (o &#8220;shamash&#8221;).
