H\u00e1 pouco mais de dois anos minha mulher e eu estivemos em Auschwitz-Birkenau, o lugar que guarda a mais tr\u00e1gica e vergonhosa p\u00e1gina da hist\u00f3ria da humanidade.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fomos tamb\u00e9m a Majdanek e Treblinka, outros dois campos de Exterm\u00ednio, como parte do meu prop\u00f3sito de visitar todos eles.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Cada lugar desses \u00e9 \u00fanico. S\u00e3o diferentes na contabilidade do horror, mas s\u00e3o igualmente importantes na compreens\u00e3o do que foi o Holocausto, n\u00e3o importando quantas pessoas tenham sido assassinadas em cada um. <\/span><\/p>\n

Mas Auschwitz-Birkenau tem destaque por ser o Campo onde foram exterminados entre 1,1 e 1,5 milh\u00f5es de seres humanos, a maioria judeus.<\/span><\/p>\n

N\u00e3o h\u00e1 como exprimir o sentimento que invadiu nossas mentes e nossos cora\u00e7\u00f5es quando estivemos l\u00e1. <\/span><\/p>\n

Na sa\u00edda de Birkenau, o Campo auxiliar de Auschwitz, a Rosane, minha mulher, ficou paralisada pelo pranto, ap\u00f3s ter se dado conta da dimens\u00e3o do terror que foi vivido ali.<\/span><\/p>\n

S\u00f3 depois de algum tempo conseguimos entrar no \u00f4nibus que nos levaria \u00e0 Auschwitz, onde estava estacionado nosso carro. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ontem foi anunciado que uma carta escondida pelo judeu grego\u00a0Marcel Nadjar em 1944 em Auschwitz-Birkenau, encontrada em 1980, teve agora seu conte\u00fado revelado na quase totalidade. Isso s\u00f3 foi poss\u00edvel ap\u00f3s muito trabalho e o emprego de t\u00e9cnicas modernas de tratamento de imagem.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nadjar jamais mencionou ter escrito a carta at\u00e9 falecer em 1971, bem antes antes que fosse encontrada. Outros 4 prisioneiros tamb\u00e9m esconderam um total de 9 depoimentos, mas ele foi o \u00fanico a sair vivo. <\/span><\/p>\n

Na narrativa ele revela detalhes da mis\u00e9ria e sofrimento que presenciou a partir de 1944, quando foi internado. A certa altura diz \u201cTodos n\u00f3s sofremos coisas aqui que a mente humana n\u00e3o pode imaginar\u201d<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n
